After Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s approval, the new sport’s policy implementation notification is issued ,According to the details of the new sport’s policy to be implemented from 2022 till 2027, the notification showed.
Under the new notification the independent status of the Charter Olympic would be retained, while no timetable or period of the office bearers POA ( Pakistan Olympic association)has been fixed under the new legislation, the policy statement shows.
While slight changes have been made in the time, Frames of President, Secretaries, and finance positions, who could retained it for two terms and their two terms has been slashed to three years instead of four years previously.
The office bearers couldn’t run for any positions after touching age limits of seventy years, while a commission has been made to conduct transparent federation’s elections.
To run the affairs of the sport’s activities, the sport’s ministry would form the national sports Council, the statement issued showed.
