The Pakistan hockey federation has started the training camps for under-19 Junior Asia Cup prior to departure in May.
The open trails were also held at Karachi and Lahore.
The selection committee headed by Olympian Kalim Ullah Khan, assisted by Nasir Ali, Olympian Rahim Khan, Olympian Shakeel AbbasiLiaq Lashari also witnessed the open trails.
On the first day of training the physical assessment, skills improvements were conducted at the Defence Hockey arena and DHA Lahore.
It’s pertinent to mention here that the 9th man’s Junior Asia Cup to held in Oman City of Salala from May 23rd to 1st June. The Asian Junior teams of Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Thailand, and Uzbekistan to participate.
